CZ.NIC
CZ.NIC is an interest group of legal entities, which was founded in 1998 by fifteen legal entities – leading Internet service providers. Its main tasks are to operate the .CZ domain name registry, to ensure the operation of the .CZ top-level domain and to educate in the field of domain names.
CZ.NIC is a member of international organizations that bring together similar organizations around the world (CENTR, ccNSO and others), and is also a member of the EURid association, which manages the European .EU domain.
The association is registered in the Federal Register, kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file number L 58624.
