Domains
A domain (or domain name) is a unique text name that represents the numerical expression of a server's location on the Internet, called an IP address, a set of characters that precedes the .cz ending. We can therefore say that it is the name under which a website is accessible. It serves as an easy-to-remember address that users enter into their browser.
Every website has its own IP address (a number by which it is identified on the Internet), but because it is easier to remember words than strings of numbers, we use domain names as simplified addresses.
