The CZ.NIC Association launches the product version of the Domain Auction system

The Domain Auction project enters a new phase. The public test, which took place at the beginning of April, as it was announced by the Association in the news and on the blog, was followed by the launch of the product version of the Domain Auction system on 1 May after midnight.

“This step means that cancelled or expired domains will no longer be released for free registration. These domains will start appearing in the list of domains up for auction. The first auction of cancelled or expired domains will take place on 16 May,” said Martin Peterka, Chief Operating Officer of CZ.NIC.
