The CZ.NIC Association Launched .blog

One of the first novelty introduced by the CZ.NIC association in this year is the launch of .blog; another communication channel interconnecting the Internet community and the association is available at http://blog.nic.cz from 31th January 2008

Prague, Czech Republic, 31 January 2008 – From this day, even the CZ.NIC association has its blog. At http://blog.nic.cz the representatives of the operator of the .CZ domain name registry want to communicate their ideas, plans and projects that have been launched or are scheduled for launch in future. Employees of the association expect the blog to function mainly as a bridge between the Internet community and CZ.NIC.
Texts will be authored by people currently working in the association. Visitors of .blog will therefore find there texts both from the management members and from client support workers, programmers and administrators.
Authors of the project from the CZ.NIC association would like to submit posts that would provoke discussion; therefore there will be an option to comment on every piece of text.

“The intensity of our communication with media and the Internet community has increased over the last year. Since we are planning to keep up communication this year, we have opened our blog as a new communication channel. Along with .news, our regular quarterly newsletter, this will be another element of the media that will enable us to receive feedback from professionals and Internet users,” explained, Ondřej Filip, CEO of CZ.NIC.
