The meeting of the Czech and Slovak network community, CSNOG 2021, which was originally planned for November, is being moved to the first half of next year. The event organisers decided to postpone this event as it is colliding with conferences with a similar scope. Further information on the CSNOG community and meetings is available on the event website as well as on social media: Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
“To our great regret, we were not able to find a reasonable date in which there would be no collision with thematically similar events. For this reason, the next CSNOG meeting will take place in its usual date, i.e. in the first half of next year. Our long-term goal is to offer a quality program to the participants ,which will consist of presentations on contemporary trends and updates as well as serve as a platform for discussions and know-how sharing. We are convinced that this goal will be fully met again next year, "commented Ondřej Caletka, Chairman of the CSNOG Program Committee, on the postponement of the meeting.
The programs of previous CSNOG events consisted among others of topics related to Internet interconnection at the level of interconnection nodes, new tools in network security or telecommunications or the domain name system. Individual presentations and their video recordings are available on the events website: CSNOG 2018, CSNOG 2019 and CSNOG 2020
The main organizers of the event are CESNET, CZ.NIC and NIX.CZ.
