CZ.NIC contributed nearly CZK 350,000 to non-profit projects

During the run of the project Verify and Contribute, domain holders, through the Czech national domain administrator, could contribute to the activities of some of the three non-profit organizations, ADRA, People in Need and Safety Line.

During the run of the project Verify and Contribute, domain holders, through the Czech national domain administrator, could contribute to the activities of some of the three non-profit organizations, ADRA, People in Need and Safety Line. All they had to do was to choose the option CZK 100 for charitable purposes as their contribution as part of the campaign to verify the data in the register. By the end of December, almost three and a half thousand domain holders joined the project, thanks to which the representatives of CZ.NIC were now able to hand over to the mentioned non-profit organizations the amount of CZK 349,300 (People in Need - CZK 154,000, Safety Line - CZK 137,800, ADRA - CZK 57,500).
