CZ.NIC Association, the mojeID service provider, has published six video tutorials that will advise service users on the full process of linking their account to the National Identification Authority (NIA). The videos guide users through all four existing options for securing their account with a security key, as well as the full identity verification procedure. All tutorials can be found on the page Video tutorials for accessing online public services on the mojeID website.

“The process of connecting a mojeID account to NIA is not complicated at all. Nevertheless, for greater user experience, we have processed it into a simple and clear video form. This is another natural step in bringing online government services closer to the public. In these difficult times, accessing from the comfort of one’s own home, for example, e-recipes, a driver’s score statement, an overview of incapacity for work and other services may come in handy more than ever before,” says Ondřej Písek, Marketing Director at CZ.NIC.

The tutorials will advise users on how to secure the mojeID account using a security key Android or Windows Hello, how to proceed if the user wishes to secure their account using a physical security key on a desktop device or a mobile device and will also help with individual steps of full identity verification using the Czech POINT service or with an eObčanka – electronic national identity card.
