The CZ.NIC Association postpones termination of the old ODVR unicast

With regards to the current emergency situation in the Czech Republic, the CZ.NIC Association decided to indefinitely postpone planned termination of the old Open DNSSEC Validation Resolvers (ODVR).

With regards to the current emergency situation in the Czech Republic, the CZ.NIC Association, the Czech national domain registry, decided to indefinitely postpone planned termination of the old Open DNSSEC Validation Resolvers (ODVR). Originally, the termination date was set for March 23. A new date will be announced well ahead of time.

“We realize the main priority now is a seamless operation of networks. Therefore we do not want to risk any complications that might arise from transfer to new IP addresses. We understand that at this moment, network administrators are not in the best situation to make any significant changes to their systems,” said Zdeněk Brůna, CTO of the CZ.NIC Association.
