Last Meeting with Registrars Prior to the Migration

On Monday, 17 September, there was another regular meeting with registrars, taking place in the conference hall InGarden in Prague, Strašnice.

On Monday, 17 September, there was another regular meeting with registrars, taking place in the conference hall InGarden in Prague, Strašnice. This seminar was the last before the planned system suspension and data migration to be carried out from 28 September to 1 October.

Within the meeting, attending registrars received information on the specific schedule of the migration to the new system including all deadlines. Additional speeches of CZ.NIC representatives introduced details of the actual data migration process, presenting practical remarks relating to the registrars transfer from the old system to the new one. It was undoubtedly important for all participants to hear that the association will ensure as fluent migration between the two systems as possible.

The seminar also included a presentation about alternative resolution of domain name disputes. During this presentation, a lively discussion started, dealing with confirmation of changes on the part of individual holders.

In the conclusion, all registrar representatives confirmed that their applications were ready for the migration and no problems with operation in the new system were expected.
