The CZ.NIC Association Has Moved to New Headquarters

As the administrator of the CZ national domain, the CZ.NIC Association announces a change of its registered office, its new logo and the new design of its website.

As the administrator of the CZ national domain, the CZ.NIC Association announces a change of its registered office, its new logo and the new design of its website. The main reason is the need for additional space for new employees of the Association, as well as moving its headquarters from the outskirts of Prague to the city centre. CZ.NIC has namely enforced its Development Department, which currently works on a new domain administration system. The new domain administration system will bring about significant improvements in the provided services and enable a reduction of the fee for holding domains.

The new address (mailing and invoicing) of the Association is:
CZ.NIC, z. s. p. o.
Americká 525/23
120 00 Praha 2

The telephone and fax numbers are also changing to:
Telephone: +420 222 745 111
Fax: +420 222 745 112
The e-mail address kontakt@nic.cz remains unchanged.

New Logo
The brand new visual identity of the CZ.NIC Association will be presented by a new logo and a unified corporate design. Combining green and grey colours, the new CZ.NIC logo creates a unique typographic design of the letters appearing in the name cz.nic and a six-point circular symbol represents Internet communication.

Website Redesign
The brand new logo is closely linked with the redesign of the CZ.NIC website, which, aside from a new graphic layout, also offers a far easier and well-arranged access to the information on the services and activities of the Association. This modern web design seeks to present the CZ.NIC Association as an open organization supporting the development of Czech Internet.

"The new activities of the Association, particularly the development of a new domain administration system and the implementation of the ENUM technology demand additional office space for its new employees. Moreover, with view to better accessibility by public transport, we welcomed our moving to the Prague district of Vinohrady," Ondřej Filip, the Director of the CZ.NIC Association, comments the changes. "The new logo and the website are a part of our strategy to present CZ.NIC as an open and dynamic company."
