CZ.NIC Publications released a book on cybercrime
The official presentation of the book with an autograph session of Jan Kolouch will be held on February 7 during the Seminar on security of networks and services.
Prague, February 1, 2017 - CZ.NIC Publications added another item to its series of specialized publications. The book CyberCrime written by an educator and an expert on computer security Jan Kolouch, came into existence as part of CZ.NIC activities in the field of Internet security and with the support of the European Commission. The aim of the current publication is to show relationships and interconnectedness of ICT, law, online security and cybercrime. An electronic version of the book Cybercrime is available for free under a Creative Commons license at http://knihy.nic.cz. Friends of printed books can order the book at the CZ.NIC Publications webpage or any of the e-shops in the Kosmas.cz distribution network.
“The author has created a text containing technical information that will help readers navigate the world of malwares, phishing, darknets, botnets and other concepts that might be confusing and daunting for users who are not very technologically oriented. At the same time, however, the book contains a legal commentary: it analyzes cybercrime from the perspective of individual legal provisions and thus offers a large amount of valuable information even for those readers who, while being familiar with all those special technical terms, remain quite distant from the world of legal classifications, articles and clauses,” writes in the book preface Martin Peterka, chief operating officer at CZ.NIC.
More information about the book CyberCrime and other books of the CZ.NIC Publications is available at http://knihy.nic.cz.
