Campaign for domain registry data improvement is approaching the finish line
The participants will have the opportunity to use the Domain browser service, to hide their postal address from the public area of the domain registry and more. Each participant will be also rewarded with an 8GB flash drive, while each 1000th participant will enjoy a new iPad.
For a few weeks now, .CZ domain holders may participate in the campaign (only in Czech) particularly aimed at improving security of their personal data. By controlling their data listed in the domain registry, the participants will have the opportunity to use the Domain browser service, to hide their postal address from the public area of the domain registry and more. Each participant will be also rewarded with an 8GB flash drive, while each 1000th participant will enjoy a new iPad.
The first part of this campaign, by which CZ.NIC seeks to improve the quality of data in the domain registry, was held at the end of the last year. You can check recapitulation notes on it by the operational director Martin Peterka on the CZ.NIC blog (only in Czech). Additional information is available in the press release issued last year on the occasion of the project launch.
