Prague, 18 March 2014 - Internet communication with the authorities, the Internet and legislation or job search on the Internet - such topics will now be covered by the Prague branch of the CZ.NIC Academy. “This is basically a pilot project, on the basis of which a package of educational materials will be devised. We will then offer these materials to other organizations that focus on education of the general public on the Internet. This semester we will be happy to receive some feedback from the visitors. We will subsequently use their findings for the finalization of the educational materials,” says Igor Kytka, the coordinator of educational activities of the CZ.NIC association.

The educational project is based on the successful television series “How to Use the Internet”, which has been aired on the Czech national television since October 2012. Most of the courses the Academy have offered so far were created for representatives of the professional community, so this is the first project for Internet beginners.

The complete offer of the CZ.NIC Academy courses including their dates is to be found on the education center website https://akademie.nic.cz/. On this website you can also register for selected topics right away.
