Prague 11 September 2013 – More effective and easier communication with the domain registry and a better overview of registered domains – these are the main advantages of the Domain Browser, a new project from employees of the CZ.NIC Association, the administrator of the Czech national domain. The browser integrates information from the WHOIS service and makes it available via the mojeID login system.
‘The primary contact point of domain holders is their registrars. In the past, operations such as a request for a password for a domain transfer or the blocking and unblocking of objects in the registry required complicated authorisation using an electronic or notarised signature. With the new link to mojeID, which offers an equivalent method of verification, this is no longer necessary, and these operations can be performed much faster’, says Jaromír Talíř, technical director of CZ.NIC.
The browser also simplifies the administration of user profiles in mojeID. Here users encountered several setting options in the domain registry, regardless of whether they used its services or not. Extending this part of profile editing to the actual application helps streamline the user interface of mojeID.
