Last week, DNSSEC technology was introduced for more than 70,000 .CZ domains. The CZ.NIC Association, administrator of the Czech national domain, therefore became, with over 87,000 signed domains, the largest registry in the world that registers domains protected in this way.
The registrars WEB4U and ACTIVE 24 made domains for their customers secure. Both these companies implemented DNSSEC for all the domains registered with them, which are also operated on their own DNS servers. Both WEB4U and ACTIVE 24 also announced that they will introduce DNSSEC automatically for all domains newly registered and administered by them.
The CZ.NIC Association introduced DNSSEC into the .CZ domain in October 2008. You can find out more about this technology at the address www.dnssec.cz.
